Elena joined McManis Faulkner in 1999. Elena has over 16 years experience as a litigation secretary working on high profile litigation matters in federal, state, and appellate courts, including business litigation, commercial litigation, complex litigation, intellectual property, trade secret, probate litigation, and insurance defense matters. She has a strong knowledge of civil procedure, local, state and federal rules, calendaring/docketing, and experience with all facets of case work up to and including trial and post-trial work.

Elena is a Notary Public and member of the National Notary Association. She is also a member of the Santa Clara County Legal Professionals Association, and served as its Treasurer for several years.

Education
California Certified Legal Secretary (CCLS)
This certification is achieved by passing a comprehensive examination on topics such as California legal procedures, legal terminology, reasoning and ethics, and communications. As such, she belongs to a select group of qualified legal professionals whose skills have been tested and proved.
