Ray Baluyot is a family lawyer who tries complicated support, property, and other financial issues, as well as high-conflict custody and parentage matters and domestic violence cases. In the child custody arena, Baluyot has tried particularly contentious cases involving domestic violence and child custody, and has handled "move away" and abduction issues, in both the domestic and international contexts. He has experience with cases involving unique occupational issues, such as entertainment royalties and residuals, stock options, business validation, tax, and retirement. Due to the contentious nature of some of his cases, Baluyot has had to initiate and defend enforcement of support and custody orders, including contempt proceedings and foreclosure actions. Baluyot also spent a substantial portion of his early years as a lawyer handling law and motion, and writs and appeals.
