  • Negotiated the dissolution of a marriage with multi-million dollar assets, including valuation and division of the real property and a complex settlement agreement for buy out of spousal support and valuation and division of a business.
  • Obtained emergency custody and visitation orders that awarded custody of children to a client against a drug and alcohol addicted parent, which led to the successful treatment of the addicted parent.
Successfully tried a breach of fiduciary duty case whereby the client had been defrauded of significant stock options by the former spouse.
  • Represented and advised a client with drug and alcohol dependency, developing a customized package of services that guided the client through an emergency screening and custody assessment, resulting in joint custody and an equal timeshare schedule.
  • Located and traced a separate property claim that was more than a decade old and valued at approximately $77,000 on behalf of a stay-at-home mother.
  • Established regular visitation rights on behalf of the grandmother of her seven year old granddaughter.

  • Tried contentious "move away" and abduction issues, in both domestic and international contexts.
  • Handled cases involving unique occupational considerations, such as stock options, business validation, tax, and retirement.
  • Initiated and defended against enforcement of support and custody orders, including contempt proceedings and foreclosure actions.
  • Successfully represented a parent whose children were abducted by a spouse, and orchestrated the return of the children by working with local and international agencies.
  • Prepared deferred sales contracts for divorcing couples who could not sell their houses due to depreciating property values.
  • Negotiated partnership dissolutions and other ownership issues involving company owned businesses, such as restaurants and catering companies.
